An opportunity for the amazing Wreck Beach Community to express their Creativity, Playfulness, Entertainment and Love with everyone.

Wreck Beach Canada Hall of Fame...page in midst of rebuilding to be a real tribute to our support.

Within the Wreck Beach Community, there are many strange, wonderful, talented and supportive souls. This page is dedicated to those who have supported this websites efforts from inception during February 2010 when Vancouver hosted the Olympics in our fair city.  Many talented musicians and artists were hosted during the Olympics during the pre-launch stages of WreckBeachCanada.com.  It is with great pride and gratitude that we honor those who have who have supported our efforts to make this website the number one place to find out what all the Artists, Musicians, Healers, Entertainers and Community of Wreck Beach are up to.  We Wreck Beachers' really miss connecting with each other in the fall and winter months, thus this site shares the Community Spirit year round for everyone to enjoy and participate in.  

Hall of Fame "Honorary" Members

Each of these members are long time Wreck Beachers' and have contributed their amazing talents in different ways to the beach community as their own unique characters.   They have shared their laughter and joy, spiritual wisdom, childlike play, music, songwriting and vocal talents as well as creative support.  We have also enjoyed their comedy, skimboard lessons, baked treats,  burlesque shows and watermelon as certain individuals took a stand for what they believe in.  As Wreck Beach Community, we have always appreciated the non-stop musical talents and entertainment, including free-style music jams and harmonic guidance from the experts throughout the years. 

Of course our illustrious beach angel Judy Williams has worked diligently to preserve the beach in its natural state against all odds.  As an honorarium, each of these members have a webpage (currently under construction) donated to them for their time and undying talents.  If there is someone we missed, whom you feel also deserves this honorarium, please send us a note and tell us why.  We would be happy to consider them in this category!

• Abdul ~ Home-style Sandwich maker and Legendary Icon of Wreck also providing maintenance for our beautiful flowerbeds.

• Alonzo ~ Wreck Beaches incredibly talented Singer and Songwriter with 3 hit songs for Canadian Idols top winning contestants and a Juno award to boot! Also considered Wrecks Legendary Flower child and Rock Star.

• Andrew Butler of Lookinglass ~ Legendary Wreck Beach Musician, Guitarist, Jammer, Singer, Songwriter, featured on CBC's Seven Wonders of Canada video of  Wreck Beach and an expert skim boarder and wonderfully patient music and skim boarding teacher as well.

• Croc ~ An unpredictable, unique Wreck legend and supporter.

• Judy Williams ~ Angel of the Wreck Beach Preservation Society, she has worked for years to keep our beach natural. Her life is made up of many weekly meetings in support of our cause and this nurturer also sports a bevy of homeless kitties who are under her care.

• Mikey ~Wreck Beach "Poster Boy" and Legendary Wreck Beach Musician, Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter.

• Nudius Foodius ~ Legendary Home-style Greek Food to live for, that is usually sold out shortly after his beach kitchen opens. Patrick is also anything but your typical Butcher and loves his Arm Wrestling Championship Competitions.

• Stormin' Norman ~ Longtime food vendor for 15 years on Wreck Beach, he is a legendary icon usually found under his big green parachute, located near beach central every year.

• Watermelon ~ Wreck Beaches famous, yet controversial Activist, Legendary Icon, Comedian, Burlesque Entertainer and Baker.  Watch for this beautiful goddess sharing watermelon on any given hot and sunny summer day.

• Wayne ~ The shores of Wreck Beach would never be the same without this Legendary Icon and Scholar who loves, lives and breathes Mother Nature like no one else we know.

Hall of Fame "Olympic Seed" Members.

Each of these members became "Olympic Seed Members" prior to the Games in February 2010 and received a  webpage in exchange for their support.  They chose to do this before our pre-website launch, based on their excitement of the upcoming projects potential.  We are forever grateful for the kickstart their donations offered in the building and manifesting process of this wonderful co-created idea.

This co-creative endeavor is a massive project, so we welcome all your ideas, photos, videos, musical expressions, artistic endeavors, healing arts, love letters, stories, newsletter contributions and anything fun that is Wreck Beach related worth sharing. As the collection of your contributions comes together, we will sift, sort and blend it into an ever-evolving expression of inspiration for everyone.  Within each page on the links above, you will see an index filled with ideas of how it may be developed.  Some of these hold  lofty goals and include long term plans, as our attitude is, "Hold the Vision Clear and See Who and What Shows Up."  So as we gain momentum to facilitate the process with your generous donations, physically, financially, spiritually and creatively, this loving community project will come together.  If you feel motivated to participate by co-creating any of the areas noted on the site, by all means let us know, as there is lot's to do and we are happy to give credit as long aswe have final edit!
